The Women’s Board awards annual scholarships to female students studying to enter the auto care industry.
In 2015, the Women’s Board awarded eight scholarships to female students studying to enter the auto care industry — four to postsecondary students and four to high school students.
The Becky Babcox Women’s Board scholarship recipient, Esther Son, received $5,000, and a trip to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nev. The 2015 Continental Female Leadership Scholarship, a $5,000 scholarship, was awarded to Perla Veloz.
Help us fund even more female scholars in 2016! Three ways to get involved:
- Ask your company to become a Women’s Board sponsor!
