In 2016, the Women’s Board awarded twenty scholarships to female students studying to enter the auto care industry.

The Kathleen Schmatz Scholarship for $10,000 and a trip to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nev. was award to Summer Miller. Miller is a student in automotive technology at Brookhaven College in Decatur, Texas.

The Becky Babcox Women’s Board scholarship recipient, Jacqueline Hower, Northwood University, received $5,000.  The 2016 Continental Female Leadership Scholarship, a $5,000 scholarship, was awarded to Grace Cameron, Northwood University. The $2,500 Babcox Media Scholarship was awarded to Rachel Berbert, Chipola College.
